I love food memories! My Dad food memory is “rock n roll” dinners. He would make homemade meatballs and sauce for spaghetti and he would play classic rock and roll music and we would spend most of dinner dancing around the living room in-between bites of his amazing pasta! We did it once a month and my brother and I lived for the words, “Tonight is Rock ‘n Roll Dinner Night!” WIPPEE!

Aw I just want to cuddle with the pupper! Such a cutie!! I have dad food memories too and they’re probably my favorite since he didn’t cook that much when I was growing up. They include mac and cheese with pepper and Tabasco or French bread pizzas

I love eggplant and I love that eggplant dish! I have a very small eggplant dish from Pier 1, not quite as lovely as that one though. I really need to have it more often, it’s on my “Love, but neglect list.”

Gyros sound so good! But I’d definitely have to have it on a warm pita, although, a wrap doesn’t sound bad either.

Love the memories! Most of mine are all food related too! I’m impressed you made gyros at home! That’s definitely a take-out meal for us. We’ve gotten that Opaa box before at the grocery store, too. Not bad, but I’m sure really unhealthy!

I like gyros, but I think sometimes the meat is too processed. This looks a lot better.

I love gyros! I am always looking for new gyro recipes that don’t involve a ton of new appliances and this looks like the one! I love tzatziki sauce with pita bread too. Now I want greek food!!!
