No food post for you tonight… dinner was a repeat recipe, but I need your help. Or rather, my sister needs your help. You’ve seen the amazing desserts she’s created each and every time I’ve visited her restaurant at the Sofitel here in Chicago. You also know how proud I am of her!
Well, in addition to being named Chicago’s Best Rising Pastry Chef at the Jean Banchet awards, she has been named one of Zagat’s 30 under 30 in Chicago, and she has been nominated as one of Food and Wine Magazine’s “People’s New Pastry Chefs”!
That’s where you come in. It’s a people’s choice award, and she needs votes. Lots of votes. So please head to the People’s New Pastry Chef website, and vote for my sister, Leigh Omilinsky.
There’s no registration needed, and the voting takes a whole 20 seconds.
Votes will be tallied and winners will be announced next Tuesday, April 9, so please use as many methods as possible to vote. Blogger friends, if you’d be so kind as to post or link back to the voting site, it would mean the world to all of us!
Recipe tomorrow… I promise!
