Adam broke into the juice first. He drank down a huge glass and proclaimed it "Really good" and "not too tart" and then put the rest of the bottle into the fridge for me. So far, my favorite way to enjoy it is mixed with equal parts of seltzer and lime. It's like a no-guilt Cosmo! Ocean Spray asked that I try their recipe for a mixed-berry smoothie, which included:
- 3/4 cup Diet Ocean Spray cranberry juice
- 3/4 cup frozen mixed berries
- 6 oz. berry-flavored yogurt
- 1 banana, cut into slices
A quick whirl in the blender, and the beautifully hot-pink smoothie was ready! I enjoyed it in the lovely Ocean Spray glass that I was provided. The final product, aside from being a beautiful color, had a great tartness brought on by both the cranberry juice and the yogurt. Next time, I don't think I'll use Greek yogurt, as the tartness factor got to be a bit much after a while. I don't know why I've never thought of putting cranberry juice in a smoothie before; it's delicious! I made this for breakfast, and another thing I noticed? Photography is way easier when it's actually light out... bring on Daylight Savings!! I'll definitely be purchasing Diet Ocean Spray again, probably in the very near future. I'm excited to try some of the other flavor combinations! Thanks to Ocean Spray and DailyBuzz Food for the opportunity to try Diet Ocean Spray... I loved it! I have partnered with Ocean Spray through DailyBuzz to help promote their new Ocean Spray Diet product. I have been compensated for my time commitment to work with this product, however my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments.
