I’m a sucker for fun foodie holidays, so much so that my calendar vocabulary lesson for my students includes “find a fun food holiday and write it in Spanish” as extra credit. So, when I found out today is Peanut Butter Lover’s Day, I had a couple of ideas of how to celebrate:
1. Make some Monkey Muffins!
2. Make some peanut noodles.
3. Make some peanut butter filled cupcakes!
4. Make some peanut butter truffles!
5. Give away something cool!
That’s it. I’ll give away something cool to my amazing readers!
Here’s the story: back in the very early days of this blog, back when things were normal, I commissioned my dad to design and make “foodie jewelry”. We came up with two ideas for charms together, one was a laptop with a criss-crossed fork and knife and the other, the one above, was a tiny jar of peanut butter with hearts.
It took me a long time after he passed away to be able to look at them again, and today’s silly holiday is the perfect opportunity to do with them as we originally intended: give them away to my readers! He wouldn’t want me to hoard them away, he’d want you all to enjoy them!
So here’s the deal: I’m giving away FIVE of these adorable peanut butter charms to lucky readers. You have all sorts of opportunities to win, using the Rafflecopter widget below. This is open to ALL readers in ALL countries. I’m making like peanut butter and spreading the love!
