I had the pleasure of photographing my friend Emily and her family this past weekend on a sunny and cold perfect Chicago fall day. They live on the north side of the city in a really cute neighborhood, not far from where my first “grown up” apartment was after college, so it was super fun to hang out with them in a familiar place.
You may remember seeing Emily before, as she’s one of the Traveling Pans sisters, but it had been a while since we’d seen each other. I’m incredibly happy with the photos so far; it’s really obvious what a loving and caring family they are! The two boys are just adorable, and are as goofy as brothers can be.

I’d love to hear your thoughts! Thank you Emily & Jason for the opportunity to hang out with you and your family! I had so much fun!
I promise that there are foodie posts coming… between work, grad school, reorganizing the kitchen, and simple exhuastion, cooking new things has been low on the priority list. I’m pretty sure you don’t want to see a seventh recipe for white chicken chili! I’m toying with another crochet tutorial as well! What would you like to learn how to make?
Have a great Monday, and don’t forget to ROCK THE VOTE tomorrow!!!
