Wednesday in Numbers: Six Flags Great America

Ok, I know it's Thursday…. but most of you read my Wednesday posts on Thursday anyway, right? Just go with me on this one, I have a good reason, I swear.

We had our final Wednesday "big" field trip to Six Flags Great America yesterday, and to say it was a success would be an understatement. I've never had a group of girls that was more willing to try new things, ride things that scared them, and who would choose going on a ride over heading to a gift shop.

In the numbers:

231: Campers in attendance

16: Campers in our group

1: Amazing assistant counselors with our group (Thanks Kalee!)

4: Times in a row said assistant counselor and a parent and sister had to ride one nauseating ride so that all our girls could ride

3: Times on the teacups (well, they're really spinning adobe pots, but who's checking?)

3: Campers who rode the Giant Drop

227: Feet in the air the Giant Drop goes before (guess what) dropping its riders to the bottom

62: Miles per hour each car traveled with my campers in it

8: Slices of pizza consumed

7: Chicken finger kids meals consumed

1: Accidental giant meal served to my third smallest camper

.25: Amount of it she ate

7: Times I was sprayed with water on the pirate ship ride

1: Times on said ride I was sprayed with water by a giant squid

11: Campers that rode their first upside down roller coaster yesterday

2-3: Required limbs to ride most rides in the park. Seriously.

5: Refills of souvenir cup (2 with diet Coke, 3 with lemonade… guess who drank what?)

285: Feet in the air the Sky Trail tour went

3: Mlles per hour said ride traveled

50: Miles that can be seen from the top

2: near-puking incidents

3: Giant bags of cotton candy consumed by our group at the end of the day

9: Total rides ridden

4: Trips to the potty ride

45: Minutes spent on the bus ride

5: Minutes before some campers were sleeping

15: Minutes driven to a meeting spot

30: Minutes spent eating dinner at Portillo's with Adam

20: Dollars for parking at the Allstate Arena

90: Minutes spent performing by System of a Down

5: Hours of sleep I got

1: Long day I'm going to have today

And one additional number for you…

3: New colors I have in my hair!

We have a Six Flags about 20 minutes away from us, but I haven’t been in ten years. I miss it!

Love the colors in your hair. Very pretty!

I can’t even remember the last time I’ve been to Great America, although my sister did at the end of May for her sons 8th grade trip. Glad it was a fun time!
