How is it possibly mid-August? How is it that summer is almost over?
Impossible!
This past week, before my amazing dinner at Cafe des Architectes, I had the pleasure of taking my campers through the Lincoln Park Zoo. While the animals seemed to be relaxing in the sun, the campers and I took a walk through the Lincoln Park Conservatory to look at all the amazing flowers. We had to rush back to the main entrance at 2:20 though… to see why, watch the video at the end of the post!
And one from our own homeland:
So, at 2:20 p.m. on the main lawn of the Lincoln Park Zoo, over 450 campers and counselors performed a flash mob! We’d been working on it for weeks, and below is the (very shaky) video!

Love the photos! I watched both versions of the flashmob video. I bet those kids had the BEST time! It was fun to watch.

Beautiful shots! I took a similar picture of the lotus at the Austin botanical gardens. (http://www.110pounds.com/?p=31789) Funny how close they look!

The flash mob was such a good idea Mara – I am sure the kids will remember that for a long time!
