WAY back in December, my friend Missy from work asked me to take their family Christmas photos. She and her husband have two adorable kids, and both of them were recovering from the awful winter colds that were going around. Needless to say, they weren't thrilled about being in front of the camera.
In March, after I had recovered from the lovely asthma/bronchitis I'd been suffering with, Missy asked me again to take family photos because her adorable son was turning three, and she wanted some cute photos of the family for the occasion. So we scheduled a weekend day, and it rained.
We scheduled the following weekend, and it rained.
And then the following…and it rained.
I believe this process happened 7 times before we decided to wait for the summer to officially arrive to try again. Two attempts later, we made it happen! We met up at a park near their house, and before we knew it, over 250 photos had been shot and the kids had waved goodbye to balloons, colored with chalk, and played on the playground… and the family photos were finally done! I have their permission to share a few with you, so here are a few of my favorites:
Please let me know what you think! I'm really pleased with them!
