Festivities & Photos

For the last few years, my friend Kristin has hosted a glorious holiday party for all her friends. She goes all-out, filling her friends with the warmth of delicious food, good wine, and the unmistakable feeling of friendship. This year was no exception, and we spent a good portion of the night discussing how 2012 was going to be a great year. It just HAS to be!

Just a few photos from the night:

Kristin had invited Lizz as well, so it was great to have an excuse to hang out… not that it’s ever all that difficult to find one.

I’m recovering today from too many glasses of delicious wine, far too much brie, and staying up way too late. Coffee is my friend, moreso now than usual.

I’m also eagerly awaiting a shipment from a FoodBuzz Tastemaker program that I was selected for! Since, you know, there’s no mail on Sundays, I’ll have to wait a few more days. Walgreens photo center now has some truly amazing projects that can be used to spotlight favorite photos. Since I have so many photos from the past year that I love, I decided to make myself a desktop calendar:

I dragged and dropped the photos I liked, edited captions, and within a few days, an adorable spiral-bound calendar will be on my doorstep! I also decided to try a different kind of item that has always fascinated me:

I don’t quite get how they can print on ceramic, glass, and plastic, but I don’t have to get it… i just have to enjoy! I can’t show you the photo I chose as it’s a gift, but I’ll be sure to show you all when it arrives. Thanks to FoodBuzz for the opportunity to play around with Walgreens Photo Center!

I’ll be back tonight with a dinner post… that is, if I can get my booty off the couch, bundle up for the 27°F temperatures outside!

Have a wonderful Sunday!

xoxo

I’ve always thought about making a calender – but I never do. Though I love ordering Walgreen’s photos for same day pick-up. I use that service all the time.
