You are all absolutely amazing!
I had no idea that my last post would garner such a response, nor that I’d have such unwavering support. I truly am in amazement!
It’s interesting having this new sense of focus on my food plan. Usually, I use my “beginning of the school year” as an excuse to go out to eat with coworkers and say that I’ll “start tomorrow”. This year, I’ve stayed focused and made extremely good choices.
I’ve also used this new found motivation and energy to do some cool things for my classroom, such as
making a lollipop tree
I got the idea from Meet the Dubiens and I just love it! So do my students. Actually, they like it more when I let them have a lollipop.
You know what else they love? The Angry Birds bulletin board I put together for my classroom! I thought about making it playable, but that would’ve just made a mess.
I’ve also gotten to spend some time with our silly dogs. I took this quick photo of Raven yesterday that made me laugh so hard I snorted!
And of course, this adorable smooshy face:
So again, thank you for your unending support… you really are all the best!

I love the “Angry Birds” bulletin board!!! What a cute idea!
Cool classroom ideas! I say it again and again, but I don’t know how teachers do it. Have a great year!
We are here for you Mara – I am not surprised that you have some many people in your corner!
Have a great long weekend!
