I truly cannot believe that it’s been almost 10 weeks of summer already.
Camp ends on Friday, and school stuff starts again on Tuesday. It’s been a long and busy summer, as many of you can tell by my general lack of posting! I’ll be back in the kitchen more soon (which my waistline will thank me for!) but in the meantime, I’m reminiscing a bit.
A few weeks ago, I was notified that I was selected by the FoodBuzz Tastemaker program to make a free KodakGallery book using their new QuickStart Photo Book program on their website. I’m already a huge fan of KodakGallery, so I was really excited to get started.
I selected my photos quickly from the myriad of photos I’ve taken this summer to tell a story of a busy ten weeks at camp, with friends, and on vacation. The photos were easily edited and put together into what is sure to be an adorable book.

My Sunday is sensational because, to be honest, I’m realizing that this has been one of the best summers on recent memory. Which I desperately needed after one of the worst years I can remember. I have family and friends I can count on, an amazing husband who loves me no matter what (bad moods, weight gain, and all), and all of YOU, who keep coming back to read my little blog, even though it has nothing to do with food these days.

Beautiful photos Mara ! I am glad you had a great summer after an awful year. This is my last Sunday before going in to setting up the classroom for the new year! So I guess that’s what makes it sensational!

Sundays are always my favorite. They’re family days. Cooking days. Blog reading days. We always try to never leave the house on Sundays and I love that – it definitely makes them sensational!
