Another Sensational Sunday means another week gone by of sun, fun, cooking, baking, shopping, posting, and (hopefully) sleeping! We saw Mr. Poppers Penguins during our random cold snap on Thursday, and I’m happy to say it was absolutely adorable. It was completely different than the book I grew up loving, but it was definitely worth seeing!
I’ve been keeping track of campers’ quotes for you, and there’s one that you simply must know. My girls are full of fabulous information, and they know everything you know, since they’re 4, 5, 6, and 7. From one of my 5-year-olds: “I love unicorns. My dad has a real unicorn you know. She’s pink, and sparkly, and doesn’t poop!”
I’d like one of those please!
Today would’ve been my dad’s 60th birthday. Instead of planning a party or special dinner for him to attend, I’m planning a dinner that he would’ve loved. I’ll post that tomorrow. I’m starting today with homemade bagels (again, post to come soon!) and a trip to the dog groomers for Maddux and Raven. A grill will be purchased, something with malt will be consumed (again, I’ll explain later), and in the mean time…
