I truly cannot believe I’m actually awake. Camp is kicking my booty (a bit of gained weighed and a long school year will do that to a person!) but I have something really cool for you all.
Just a little “Thank You”.
See, I’m fiercely loyal to my friends who are loyal to me. I have some friends I see all the time, and some who, for one reason or another, a long time will pass between times we see each other.
My friend Hillary is one of those friends.
Hillary and I met our sophomore year of high school, and really became friends our junior year. We’d occupy our morning free periods meticulously eating warm bagels from the cafeteria. We had a “way” that we’d eat them. First, a terrible plastic butter knife (always shared) would be used to cut through the bagels. Then, we’d each take our own knives and split the little one-ounce container of cream cheese into two very even halves. We’d scoop them out onto the poorly-cut bagel halves and allow them to sit a minute to soften, then we’d spread them very evenly across the bagels.
We’d doodle endlessly through Mrs. Holman’s honor’s U.S. History class, filling the margins of our half-sized Five-Star notebooks with black and white squiggles, lines, pictures, and letters. We’d fill up the empty boxes of our Chandler’s assignment notebooks with notes to each other, joking about whatever boy was the flavor of the week.
While we may not see each other often, Hillary and I have remained good friends, and I was THRILLED when she started a fashion and design blog of her own called Anxious Alphabet. This led to her fantastic Etsy store by the same name. She’s taken her doodles to a whole new level and now designs amazing notecards.
Which she’s done for you…
Here’s a little something from Hillary to explain:
hi! it’s hillary aryn from anxious alphabet!
i’ve always been a bit (anxious).
and a writer needs her (alphabet).add colorful sharpies + delightful designs to the mix, and you’ve got anxious alphabet!
i love tiny things, artist trading cards, creating perfectly unbalanced artwork, greeting cards and more. in fact, i’ve had a crush on paper since i was 4! and i’m intrigued/obsessed with journals + notebooks. paper is fun to hold, and expressing your sentiments is the sweetest thing of all!
the {hey there, cupcake} cards featured in this giveaway were designed exclusively for What’s For Dinner!in the details:message {hey there, cupcake}interior {blank}size {5 x 7}image {cupcakes}

These are adorable!! My friend just found out she has breast cancer. She is a single mom who went through a recent rough divorce. She hasn’t had the best life and now she finds out that she will have to endure this as she tries to keep her spirits high for her 4 year old daughter. It’s devastating but I know she needs me more than ever now.
Not to be all ME ME ME, but I could use some cheering up. My best friend died two weeks ago at age 29. I miss him every day.
oh im so sorry to hear. i’m sending a virtual hug —> ( )

My mom is always there for me… But this pass fews years has been the worst of her life..My father was her life and she took care of him everyday of her life and I mean everyday!! The night we lost my father to a hearttack in his sleep while she was sleeping next to him and if that was not enough pain. About 4weeks later we lost my uncle and she was very close to him too. Then about a year later my mom had to have triplebypass heart surgery and while on she was in recovery my mom sister
passaway and they were best friends and born on the same day a year apart…but through it all she has been my rock for my own life that has been crazy and my cheerleader… So I ask u to think of her when u do this giveaway!! Thanks so much
Tracy
These are SO adorable!
My sister in law just found out she is pregnant again (her first son just turned one last weekend) and she is worried about having two young kids, paying for day care, etc. I know the little things are helping to cheer her up, and these cards would be fun to send to her
These are great. I would LOVE to win these. My daughter is currently in school for her bachelors in Baking and Pastry. Her ultimate goal is to open a pastry shop/cafe. Her focus is on cupcakes and these would look terrific framed and hanging in her dorm room to keep her focused and eventually in her bakery.

A close friend of mine definitely needs some cheering up. She recently started a new job and was super excited for it. Now she calls me every day on her lunch crying about how much she hates it and how mean everyone is. She is stuck and could use one of these to brighten her day.
oh dear. those are not fun moments. i hope she cheers up soon!
Love the Facebook page and I am now a fan.
I absolutely adore the Little Hearts Love You Cards. I am definitely contemplating a purchase soon. Now if only I could get my hands on the hubby’s credit card. =)
simply adorable!!! And I could totally use some cheering up. Work has been tougher and more emotional than usual, and I could seriously use a cupcake (real or adorable graphics) to cheer me up! I also have a few clients who I know that these would certainly brighten their day!
one of my work friends turned real life friends was diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis) in the past year….doing well most of the time but she had an MS attack last weekend the day she was in a wedding and has been home getting steroids daily since. i would love to send her one of these cards to cheer her up!
ps. your friend is so talented!!
I would love them for my daughter who is the sweetest free spirit I know! She lives in the cutest little carriage house (over a garage lol) so tiny she has no kitchen counters but still manages to make the best cupcakes for her friends – most requested Root Beer floats. I would love to frame the cards and hang in her kitchen <3
that is such a sweet idea!
My sister and her 20 year old daughter, Lauren, are best friends with each other. Lauren recently got married to an Army Ranger and moved to Georgia where he is stationed. They are going to miss each other desperately!!
