Nearly Wordless Wednesday {Giveaway Post]

I give up trying to be wordless. It just doesn’t happen!

So, we’ll call it “Slightly Loquacious Wednesday” instead.

A couple days ago I made pork bao buns.

They were pretty good, but not perfect. I’ll have to try again.

I also made whole wheat linguine with clams. It was amazing and I was mad I forgot my lunch leftovers.

Tonight was herbed flank steak with asparagus and Jess’ amazing mushroom recipe.

Our amazing dog Raven…

Has a new friend! Meet Maddux…

He’ll be staying with us for a while… or forever… let’s hope for the latter!

A while ago, MyBlogSpark sent me this care package featuring Green Giant broccoli in cheese sauce, an insulated tote, bowl, silicone spoon, and pedometer. We ate the broccoli a week or so ago, and I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious it was. I’m not usually a processed cheese fan, but for the nutrition, it rocked!

You can win a pack like this of your own by leaving a comment about your favorite vegetable or vegetable/condiment combination. Mine? Potatoes and sharp cheddar.

You can win an additional entry by following my BFF Lizz on Twitter, @LizzNLittleBit then leaving a second comment that you’ve done so.

A third entry can be gained by “Liking” What’s For Dinner? on Facebook, and leaving a third comment.

Something else to do

Help raise money for Share Our Strength by decorating virtual toast! $1 is donated for every piece of “toast”!

Here’s one that I made:
