On Sunday, I had the pleasure of meeting up with some amazing Chicago-area bloggers at Big Bowl, a local Asian-fusion restaurant. I’ve been going to Big Bowl for as long as I can remember, but even though its only a few minutes away, I never go anymore!
I was excited to go to the restaurant, but even more excited to see some bloggers I hadn’t seen since last September, and to meet a couple new people.
I was a bad blogger friend and didn’t bring anything for my new friends… note to self, make cupcakes BEFORE blogger meet up… Jennifer brought us mini muffins and Biz brought scones. Mel brought white chocolate bark and Christina brought us all dish towels… I hate that I came empty handed!
Biz, Jennifer, Christina, Mel, and I immediately started talking blog stuff which I think confused the other people at our table… they were very tolerant though, and very nice!
We started out with a couple of appetizers: egg rolls and spicy string beans
Then I got something that I haven’t had since i was a much younger foodie: BBQ Pork Fried rice.
We had amazing conversation, and delicious food… a fabulous combination!!

How do you get such good restaurant pictures? Or did you have natural light? They turned out very well!
I used the 50mm lens on my dslr… It helps amazingly!
I hope to attend a blogger meetup with some of our local bloggers one day. Looks like fun!!! (and LOVE the photos!!!)
