Our family dog, Riley, had to be put to sleep yesterday. He hadn’t been sick, so this is particularly difficult.
We got Riley, a border collie, after our first dog passed away in 1998. He was a super-energetic dog and never really calmed down until he was about 11!
Riley moved to Oregon with my dad when he moved in 2008, and went through a lot with our family. He was a great dog, and we’ll all miss him terribly…

I am so sorry about your loss.
So sorry about your loss. It is very super hard to let go of a pet. Especially so unexpectedly. I am the mommy of a 2 year old border collie/terrier and can’t imagine losing him ever. I’ll be thinking of you and your family today.

So sorry to hear about your loss. They furry little people really do become a part of your family. We had to put our dog down a few years ago and I remember how difficult it was. My thought are with you and your family.
