i have the same icicles over my house’s front entrance. they are scary! my association has always acted like it’s normal to have them (my house doesn’t have gutters but what they call a “diverter” which is why they happen).

Wow, those icicles are scary! I just put some pics of ours on FB, but they were only like 2′ long – the longest maybe 4′. Luckily ours are ground level so we can knock them down – but I agree – they’re dangerous!!
