Today was quite the strange and random day, food wise.
No, really… VERY random. I got a message from my friend Kristin today that she needed help picking out shoes for this odd-colored dress she bought for a wedding on Saturday. Many of you may know, I am quite the shoewench! I got home from school late today due to talent show practice… now mind you, “late” is actually 5 p.m.! Anyway, mission #1 when I got home: GREEN MONSTER!!! I’d been craving one all day, and figured I needed shopping fuel.

Then, after heading to the mall, I partook of the gift Adam got for me: a manicure! I used an old (well, from last summer) color called “Short Shorts” that holds a special place for me… it was the color my nails was when Adam and I got engaged!

THEN, the shoe shopping adventure started. Seriously 20 stores later, we had no luck and rumbling bellies. Both of us are rather unpleasant when we get hungry… so we went somewhere I hadn’t been in MONTHS… Taco Bell. I got not one, but TWO bean burritos (sorry Adam!) and was quite satisfied.
Oh the college nostalgia!
I finally headed home, and on my way realized that I was out of saline solution for my contacts. I hit Walgreens, and of course had to look through the candy aisle. I was that nerd that was taking pictures of the candy.

Tomorrow is a marathon day… work, talent show practice, dinner with a friend, then CPR training for my camp job this summer. Did I mention that I’m working an 11-hour-a-day, 5-day-a-week for 9 weeks camp job? Yeah, starting June 15 for my 10th summer in a row, I’m a director for Good Times Day Camp! I look forward to it pretty much from the day camp lets out at the end of the summer… I’m nerdy like that!
I’m going to finally get some sleep… No. More. Shoe. Shopping.

I gave up most fast food about 3.5 years ago. I so don’t miss taco bell, it made me sick every time (but that didn’t stop me). But I do remember fondly the taste of chili cheese burritos, but now I just make them at home! Yum!
