Today’s theme is Japanese Bento Boxes. Even in their non-cute state, bento boxes are an adorable way to pack and carry lunch. BUT, many people take bento packing to an art. While you’re looking at these, ask yourself: Would you put THIS MUCH EFFORT into a lunch box??

KATAMARI! I love that game to death. Oh my goodness, the art, the music, the overall game design–all sooo good. The maker of Katamari has a new video game out called Nobi Nobi Boy, which looks equally cute and colorful. I think it might be only in Japan right now though.
The bento boxes are super cute, the Totoro one especially!

I had no idea peoplpe made Bento boxes into an art form like this–Wow! I really want a bento box to portion out my meals…it makes it fun and easy to eat the right amount!
