Welcome to the 5th installment of Cute Food Saturday! If you’ve missed any of the previous entries, check them out here, here, here, and here. I’ve been scouring the web for cute food pictures and was thrilled to find a couple (ok, more than a couple) at my friend Chocolate-Covered Katie’s blog! She is a cupcake and cookie decorating master, and I had to share a couple of her cupcake pictures:

There’s another baking blog I love reading by a fabulous woman, Bakerella. She’s created these awesome cupcake pops, and they just get cuter and cuter! Here are her Easter chicks:

By now, you should all know my affinity for Hello Kitty, so I just HAVE to show you Bakerella’s Hello Kitty cupcake pops:

After finding these cupcake pops, I went on a spree trying to find other cute baked goods. It’s really not all that difficult to do! They’re EVERYWHERE!

Thats all the cute food for today, but I have a non-food reminder: PLEASE go visit Casey’s Fundrasing Page (read about it here) and help Casey the Schnauzer get his heart surgery! I got this note from Jessica yesterday, and thought it was worth re-posting:

Hi there! Thanks for everyone’s well wishes for Casey. He’s a precious little dog and it really makes me so happy to see so many kind people reaching out to help him get better.

Regarding the amount–unfortunately the minimum amount the “Causes” application on Facebook is $10. I wish I could change that but I cannot. If you would like to donate less, you can go to http://www.schnauzerloverescue.org and there is a mailing address where you can send your checks (Casey’s story is prominently featured there as well!). As Casey’s foster mom, I thank each and every one of you who have donated or even just posted a link to his “Cause” from your Facebook page. I truly appreciate it.

Oh–there is a “note” feature on the Cause page, where people can send me messages, or you can post on the Cause’s “Wall”.
