No, I didn’t cook. Not quite there yet.
Jimmy John, whoever you are, you're my hero (no pun intended)
What’s that? Is that a red tomato? Green sprouts? Cucumber?
Is that a Jimmy John’s Veggie Sub?? YES! YES IT IS!!!
Maybe my perspective is off because my diet has consisted of nothing but white bread, bad KFC mashed potatoes, Gatorade, and the occasional drink of boring black tea, but this was the best freaking gosh-darn sandwich I’ve ever had. I probably shouldn’t have gotten cheese on it, but luckily it’s sitting well. I’m happy, my stomach doesn’t hurt, I’m on Spring break, the house is clean, and Adam is feeling better…it’s a good night!
I have quite a few guest posts coming up on various sites this week that I’m pretty excited about, so stay tuned for more details on those. ALSO there is an incredibly cool, foodie/food blogger project in the works (my Facebook friends know about it already, PLEASE give me input!) and I can’t WAIT to unveil it! Hopefully, everything will be in place by Tax Day (April 15).
Thank you again, each and every one of you for your well-wishes and get-well messages over the last 4 days. I’m so lucky to be part of such a warm and caring community. You are all wonderful!

A few months ago at work, we were swamped and unable to leave. My boss and I were both starved and exhausted when this “angel” walked in, and handed us two Jimmy John sandwiches – samples! It was a pretty big free sandwich – about 5″ long – and I know it’s “just” a sandwich – but ever since then, when I eat Jimmy John’s it’s just the GREATEST. haha
