It’s finally starting to (maybe?) warm up here in Chicago, so it seems as if Spring might actually arrive at some point soon… and I can’t wait!
Adam and I celebrated the end of the week by going out for Thai food at our favorite place. We got one new thing, tofu satay, and one old favorite: pad si ew.
These were seasoned just like the chicken ones!
The pad si ew was particularly good, mostly because they took me seriously when I said “extra veggies!”
FINALLY a good picture of my favorite!
After dinner, we headed to the mall to look for an offensive t-shirt for me to wear to Lizz’s “Dirty Shirty” party tomorrow… no luck with that, but I did get Yogen Früz! They had CHOCOLATE and I got it with raspberries blended in. I didn’t get a picture because I devoured it while walking around the mall! Just before we left the mall, we decided to go to the bulk candy store and we each got a small assortment of sugar-based candies that were oh so very delicious!
Now the sugar buzz has warn off, I’m exhausted… but before I forget:

Pad Siew is our favorite too! We make it at home often, and I have actually ventured into a Thai store to buy the noodles and sauce to make it. I love those chewy noodles.
What will you do about the t-shirt? Make your own?
You are so sweet to give me a shout out like that
I was so honored when I received an email letting me know about it, and friends like you make it even more amazing!
Hurray for your favorite thai food! The pictures turned out great! Oh yeah, and we still need to go to Yogen Früz! Perhaps that can be included in our post-break date?!
